Hopefully the process speeds up with the Olympics being over and the orphanage donation being increased. As it stands It's probably going to take another 4 to 6 years the way things are going.

John - very cool how at first you were resitant but now you are so looking forward to it all! I just wish it would speed up for so many of you!!

And you are right - you will get the child who was meant for you. I know now how true that is.

We were trying so hard to be DTC by my DH's 30th birthday, which was 10/5/05 - and to get a LID soon after that. Well, a number of thing slowed us down - most notably our I-171H - and we were not DTC until 11/11/05, and our LID was 11/22/05. And because of being logged in a month later than planned, we waited in line for 5 more months to get our referral - and we would not want it to be any different. Charlotte was meant for us, and us for her.
