OT- Toddler control issues

OK, I think I just posted somewhere that I love this 2-3yo age. However... I currently have a dilema. DS #1 is very controlling about were he sleeps. Wants to sleep in mom's bed or the couch or anywhere besides his bed. Lately he has been sleeping on the couch in DD's room. I have been letting him... because it seemed harmless and he went right to sleep without much fuss. The problem is that now DS #2 seems upset that big brother is not in his room. DS #2 has also just started climbing out of his crib. So you guessed it. DS #1 goes to bed in the other room, DS #2 screams, cries, and gets out of his crib. IF I make DS #1 sleep in his room, DS #2 stays in bed and DS #1 screams and cries. I'm not sure what to do. Another part of the problem is that DH works evenings several nights a week. So, I come home from work tired and I just dont' have it in me to fight with them about bed time. We have our routine, which I stick to, but I am still at a loss.

Tonight they both ended up in DD's room. #1 on the couch, #2 in her crib.

Any suggestions???
