We had a bit of a scare. All of a sudden, Cameron got fussy. I checked him and then he desated into the 20's and his heart rate went down to the 70's. Not good at all. Thankfully, his nurse was right outside the door, and very quickly 4 others & RT were in here. They bagged him and eventually he calmed down and his 02 sats went back up. He was REALLY mad and it was pretty frightening. I kept telling him to breathe. He seems okay now. Hopefully that won't happen again. As much as we love the PICU nurses, I don't want Cameron to be sick enough to need their care. His surgeon checked him over and we'll just continue to monitor him closely.
