Emotional...They cut her hair!
I am just all emotional today. Yesterday Kate turned 17 months old and she is STILL not home. We have been out of PGN since 8/18 and don't have a BC yet. This morning I open my email and there are new pictures of Kate. Normally, this is a great day. They cut her hair! Just another "first" I am missing. When we were in GT last month I told Kevin we should take her to the salon at the Westin and get her hair cut. She didn't feel well during our visit, so we decided not to. Her bangs really needed to be cut and she sorta had a mullet going on. But it was our mullet!  I know all this is crazy talk and I am not being rational. She really did need a haircut. It just makes me want to cry. Thanks for letting me whine about another missed milestone. Here's a picture of Kate and her new "do". She still is incredibly cute though!
I do love our foster family, and I'm sure the super long bangs were bothering the heck outta them!
