I homeschool, but with 3 kids at home, not considered large, really...
That being said, we've lived on a very tight budget forever, so I'm an old hand at trimming costs.
First, I make as much as I can from scratch. (Or I did until an injury made my rt shoulder through finger tips pretty unuseable). This includes bread. hillbillyhousewife.com is an excellent site.
Ebay is a wonderful place for clothes, etc. Consignment stores too. Library for movies, rather than rent.
Its not available here in Canada, but friends in the States swear by the grocery game too.
