I am a McCain/Palin supporter and I do hope that McCain's choice of a running mate will help in the election.
I vote on the basis of a candidate's stance on the protection of life. IMO, it does not matter what kinds of social programs you have to offer if you don't allow others to live to benefit from those social programs. The gift of live should be protected first, then we can work on the other issues. There's no benefit from a healthier environment or a peaceful world if you're not alive to experience it.
