I haven't posted here in forever but you hit a nerve with this topic. Yes, just make an immediate switch. My doc said that if we were switching down to easier to digest foods it was best to go cold turkey. DS had horrible diarrhea even at 2 years old on soy milk. After doc took me seriously and did some tests, it turned out his iron was low. After a month on an iron supplement and cutting way down on juice, the kid was "cured." I swear the whole thing was just a vicious circle we had to break.
