Sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been super busy with being back at work and all. The Peanut is doing great. She is growing like gangbusters!
birthmom is still MIA but they are actively looking for her to get her to sign the TPR papers. If not we have to wait until 6 months after dispo.
Been running back and forth to the doctor with her acid reflux but with this last med adjustment and the addition of a little rice cereal to her formula she seems to be doing a LOT better.
Hating medicaid because it take 2 months to get approval for minor surgery!
If we could get the TPR done I could put her on my insurance and we wouldn't have to wait until next year! (Yep, they said it would be next year).
At the last FT meeting the team was impressed at how well bonded she is. How could she be anything else? She is my daughter and I am her mommy.
In the meantime I have turned down one other placement until Peanut's tummy issues are a little better. I think it's unfair to bring another child in right now when some nights involve 6-8 hours stretches of crying and no sleep for anyone involved.
