Yes, we're here! Got about 2.5 hours sleep last night and then we got to the hotel and caught 2 hour naps before the facilitator and FF came. Flights were great; I love Delta.
Jorge is fantastic. We did PU at 5pm which is hard on him b/c he's already winding down for the day and tired and so a disruption at that point is hard on bedtime. It took us an hour to get him to sleep--mostly me pacing the halls with him in my sling--but he's out for now. We hae to meet the facilitator in the lobby at 6:15 AM so not going to be up much longer ourselves!
The handoff was hard hard hard. We're actually going to the zoo with the FM and FD on Thurs and they're probably seeing us off at the airport Friday so it was not really a "forever goodbye" thing today but everyone still sobbed except Jorge who was too busy giving kisses and running around. They love Jorge so much and it hurts to see them grieving so much.
Ok, off to bed...adoption brain struck again adn I forgot to post this!
