Lou - your post brought tears to my eyes. Your heart is big and your faith is strong..you will all get thru this, Essie too. She has to learn trust and security, that may take her a long time. AP and her will have moments for many years. I see with Emery and Vivian that they both need/want me at the same time - they are only babies and push to get to me - I try to remain patient and loving, but at times have to let them cry with just rubbing their backs and talking to them, all while staying close and not always picking them up. My house is a mess and I don't get to shower often, but I know I need to give this time to both of them and our 2 older ones too -do what you can and when you can. Just console and love all your kids as best you can. This too will pass and Essie will be okay. Hang in there and keep venting when you need to.
