I had the same problem with my DD#2. The good news is it gets better with time. But I would go to stores like Babies R Us and JCPenny and buy size 3T capri pants. Fit her perfect and nobody knew the difference. We did that the whole winter and by the next winter the formula was gone and we slimmed right down and could wear the 3T capris for capris.
