The advice above sounds perfect!
Baby shampoos in general are not gentle on skin or hair as the manufactoring companies imply... It is gentle on eyes because it is the same ph level (7.5 I think) as our eyes, therefore creating "no more tears". Which is hard on the skin...
I have extremely dry skin so bathing with harsh soaps or ones with high fragrance cause me to break out. The derm I went to last year said Aveno was "one of the best over the counter soaps on the market"... I imagine Aveno shampoos to be about the same. We live in FL it gets hot, sticky and sweaty so I shower 2-3 times a day during the summer... He suggested showering with cool water, only soap "the necessities", use Aveno lotions or oils after shower and pat try, not rub...
I would think it would be about the same for hair, shampoo only when needed and use a shampoo gentle on the skin such as Aveno...
