Wow- that's not cool at all.
I had not seen the term on the boards, but sure enough it was there when I entered it as a search term. I would like to think that those who used it meant no harm, especially if they are still learning appropriate terminology. (I admit to using birth mom as one word, before reading that people were put off by that).
