constipation issues with toddler. Can anyone provide advice on a preventative plan for our adopted 2.5 year old toddler who has constipation issues? What works for you, he is in preschool from 9-2:30 and I wonder if he holds it in etc and than just waits till he gets home. Just when I think I have solved the issue I am back to square one with him. I understand it hurts sometimes and want to prevent that, we make sure he eats lots of fruits, and things high in fiber. Any ideas would be wonderful! Both his Birth parents had issues with constipation so it runs in his family. We have been to the doctors but found the doctors advice not helpful. Thought I would come on here to get some good advice.
