Ugh. I don't have vocabulary strong enough to explain why I don't like this - especially vocabulary that would be appropriate here!
Ex has SUCH a negative connotation and how people can claim they don't see that is beyond me. It is WILDLY offensive. I can't even see the necessity for it to be honest and would be VERY interested to hear what the "legitimate" argument is for using it.
