Thoughts on a "New" Term: "Ex" Mom

I know our language is always evolving. I know we're a group of rushed people in general, looking for ways to shave seconds off of everything from meal creating to writing posts on forums. But I've been made aware of something and it bothered me and I had to see if other birth parents were also bothered.

What do you think of the term "exmom" used when referring to an expectant mother?

I know we made a huge stink about referring to expectant parents as birth parents prior to the signing of TPR. People then began realizing the need to use the term "expectant mom" or, shortened, "emom." But exmom? Really? Isn't anyone getting the connotation that we're making the expectant mother an "ex" before she has been severed from her child? Ex = past = I don't like it. They're not the "ex" mom prior to TPR. They're the current, present and only mom prior to signing. They're not the ex!

Thoughts from other birth parents? (Others welcome to chime in as well!)
