Okay, if you search you will find a similar laundry thread which outed me for the stain removal freak that I am.
A few favorites:
OxyClean powder w/water as a presoak
Oxyclean spray on minor stains
Borax or OxyClean in with wash for general brightening
Charcoal lighter fluid (a tiny amount) on grease stains and it is amazing!!
Spotshot carpet cleaner also works great for pretreating stains
One of my favorite resources is the book 'Talking Dirty with the Qeen of Clean' lots of very good stain removal advice
