I think that most of all it comes down to gender and people thinking mother's should be more involved (or SAHM) than men. Of course political bias does play a role too. I think if Palin were democrat - I as a democrat would react differently as would republicans, I don't think the ones on here would necessarily be singing her praise and I would probably be defending her.
