I should not get started on this but I have to say that I do not think that Sarah Palin's family life is a large factor for determining her qualification to be VP anymore that it is for Barak Obama or any other past president or VP who had young children while in office (ie JFK). I also agree that her daughter's pregnancy is not relevant and her business, whereas her alleged attempt to fire a public appointee in Alaska for supposed personal reasons for which she just hired an attorney are relevant - whatever the facts turn out to be (I certainly dont know). Also, the questions as to whether she has appropriate qualification to hold this office from an experience/policy position viewpoint, and whether McCain's decision making process was thoughtful, is one that will get me in trouble so I will stop. I should add that I am the primary wage earner in our family and DH is primary care provider right now and I think that is a fine model to present.
