I just wondered if anyone here has used LDSFS in North Carolina or South Carolina. I am a little confused about the "legal fees" that accompany an adoption through an agency. The lawyers that I talk to say the legal fees with an agency will be $2500 to $3000. The people at LDSFS don't seem to know. I just want to know how much we need to be saving. We have the 10% of our income saved up for the LDSFS fee, but now it looks like we have to hold off to save for the "legal fees."
