Several years ago I had a lady ask me if I had ever read the entire Bible, which I believe to be true. When I told her "no", she asked me how I could possibly know what I believed when I hadn't even read the book I claim is the truth. Well, it hit me hard and I spent the next 6 months reading. It was a wonderful experience for me and one that opened my eyes to what I believe and more importantly why I believe it. Ironically, I ended up at a non-denominational Christian church that had emphasis on Jesus Christ as the Savior and one that chose not to debate the small other issues that didn't really have any relation to salvation. If you do believe the Bible to be the truth, I would recommend that you read it....the New Living verison (very conversational)....and decide from there, for yourself, what you believe. Then, find a church then that matches your emphasis and concerns. It worked for me!! Ali
