Of all the crazy fluky things....Cristian fell and smacked his nose on the play table this morning and broke his nose! Apparently it is very unusual for a two year old to actually break a nose, but he did, and man did he do a job on it. The cartilidge dividing his nostrils is detached and dislocated, and his nasal bone may or may not be broken (xray says no, MD says it looks broken to him); he'll know better about that next week once the swelling has gone down a bit. The "closed reduction of the nasal fracture," the surgery to fix the mess, is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Keep my poor little bugger in your thoughts!
