We're in Wisconsin and both our boys came home on IR-4's. For our older boy we did the re-adoption in Wisconsin, applied for and received the new birth certificate, applied for and received a Social Security Card and then applied for the Certificate of Citizenship. Once I received that I applied for a new Social Security Card that said he was a citizen. We have our court date for our re-adoption of our younger boy in September. I thought the process was incredibly easy compared to a dossier.
