I agree that she should have had an EEG done. My cousin had 3 seizures when she was younger, all widely spaced (more than 6 months between), and all so long that she had to go to the hospital. The never did figure out what the problem was, and she never had any more. So, it is possible that they won't figure anything out, but they should definitely at least do an EEG before they rule it as "cause unknown."
