Specifically wait time, birth parent issues, # of children available, tough time adjusting, etc. Thanks.

I am a 28 y/o single AA woman in Florida. I was licensed as a foster parent in feb 07 and I adopted 2 biracial boys, currently age 2 & 3. They were 1 & 2 at placement and 1 & 3 at adoption.
My boys got placed with me as Foster only placments that just happened to get TPR'd. They were placed on April 5, 2007 and adopted Nov 07, but that was only because the agency was dragging their feet.
In my county there are lots of kids available for adoption and the vast majority of the time they are adopted by foster parents. Unfortunately, a lot of kids never go back home in my county, so far this year we have had over 400 adoptions. I believe we hold the state record. Out of the 6 kids, I have had in my home, ONLY 1 of them was returned home and he probably should have never been in foster care to begin with.
It would take forever to tell you about about adjustment, parents etc...However if you read through my past posts by clicking on my name and going to my personal page, you can follow my long saga all the way back to the beginning. Also if you would like to read more about the current events of my boys visit our blog:
