I was a little worried about that, too, as I am Asian and DH is Caucasian. Our worker didn't think it was an issue. We ended up being chosen by the agency, not the birthparent and the only birthparent who didn't choose us chose an amom who was going to breastfeed. (Our sib set that we adopted is Caucasian-Latino.) 7/11/08 - Matched! 20 month old girl and 3 month old boy
7/12/08 - The kids are in our care! Instant Family (just add water)!
3/20/09 - Finalized! We are legally, and in all other ways, a family.
