Hi all, my 10 mos old has this rash that is freaking me out. I've called her ped and they told me not to put anything on it and if it doesn't go away in 3 days to bring her in... well that's all fine and good, but it's still freaking me out. The 3 days are not up, but I'm not going into the weekend with this rash unchecked and plan to take her in tomorrow.
My question is WHAT IS IT?! and how did it happen to my baby?!
She's not sick, no fever, no real irritability (outside the normal
) It started under her belly button and her inner thighs, I thought it was diaper rash and started the Boudreaux Butt Paste. It spread over her belly and to her chest and down her legs a bit! EEK!
Can anyone give me any idea what this could be? I've googled and Webmd and I'm sorta settling on heat rash... I think. Any other ideas? It doesn't follow the pattern of measles... they are little fine bumps, no oozing or open sores of any kind... but it does itch.
This has literally kept me awake at night... and has me close to tears everytime I lift her shirt.
