Yeah, I don't know. What are the dangers of high nitrates? If it were me, I'd give Ty the beets, just not every day for every meal. Which, of course, you aren't going to do with anything.
I'm going to see if the Playskool baby book I have says anything about this. This book has a much more relaxed opinion on just about everything. I'll let you know what I find out.
