I read the The Shack. I liked the plot behind it, but sometimes felt it was much too wordy. It was a good book to make you think though!
I recently read The Memory Keepers Daughter. I saw that it is now a movie so it reminded me that it was one I wanted to read. I really liked it and it flowed really well.
I of course always love Nicholas Sparks for easy reading
Also, Marley and Me was REALLY good (thankfully a friend lent it to me or else I never would have read it on my own). I also love Mitch Album (sp?)-Tuesdays with Morrie, 5 people you meet in Heaven and One last day, but make sure you have tons of tissues!!!
