My daughter just turned 2 and has also been home since dec 2006... She does this also, especially if she's tired or not feeling well. I bought the Ergo carrier and when she gets in these moods I just strap her on and then I can go about doing what I need to do. She loves it and will sometimes go and get the carrier when she wants to be close.
