She would like to send her daughter 'back' to the Ukraine after 6 years bc she can't bond with her. The child apparently has a diagnosed condition. Story (as is typical for the show) is more complicated than they lay out on the onset...but how could anyone want to send a child back???

That segment is over. Basically the mom needs help and support to deal with her daughter. It is sad. As he said this child didn't choose to be in an ophanage and ignored as a baby. It was just a startling reminder of how impt it is to really consider decisions. In retrospect, I am seeing what a good job our agency did with preparing us (as a FAMILY...us and the kids) for adoption. They were very responsible in this area.
