Sounds fairly familiar except DD doesn't hit. She pulls hair and has just started biting.
We tried telling her no very firmly and looking her in the eye when she was trying to yank my hair out of my head. She too thought that was very funny and part of the game. So I started giving her one chance. I would tell her no and remove her hand from my hair. If she did it again, I would simply put her down and walk away. THAT got her attention.
She didn't like it, but the hair pulling incidents are down to one or two a day so it's working.
The biting is fairly new but the hair pulling treatment seems to be working. I just move her away from my leg (she goes for the knees) and sit her down on the floor. She's now started "fake biting" complete with chomping sound, lol.
As for the trantruming.......yep. Eve's not a flailer, but she can make the tears flow, the lower lip tremble and throw herself down in a pathetic little heap with the best of 'em.
We ignore it (aren't we bad?) and she usually gets bored and stops. If not it's time for a nap.
