Hi Guys...I am a new Mom again and need some advice. It's been almost 17 years since I've had to buy baby stuff and I'm kinda at a loss. I have 16 year old twin girls and just gave birth 3 weeks ago to our son so there are no "hand-me-downs" at all. The members of our church gave us various gift cards and gifts certificates as shower gifts so money isn't a major concern just trying to figure out which brands and labels work best. Below is a list of the things I need to buy soon and if any of you have preferences please let me know. Baby Aidan and I thank you in advance.
1. Stroller...I'm being a SAHM until March,2009 at least and I walk to get exercise and I need to get one so we can walk together.
2. Car seat...I need one that we can use soon; he was a preemie so he's only gone out for Dr.'s appts. my parents home and Walmart twice so far and I was given a loaner to use for 6 weeks from the hospital but we're ready to
with our own soon.
3.Cereal...haven't started feeding yet, of course, but I know it's coming up soon; which brands are best and
why? Along this same line which baby food brands are best and why?
4.Swing...Which Brand and why? I'll be buying one this week with a Baby-R-Us gift card due to expire 9/15/08 for $75.00 and I can add extra $$ if I need to. Oh, and a Walker...I have a card for set aside for a walker from Target, ($40.00) which type/brand/etc. is best?
5. Winter clothes..we're in Texas and it's really mild for the most part but I need to know which brands of "ONE-SIES" and SLEEPERS are most comfortable for him? BTW: He HATES getting dressed; putting and pulling anything over his head gets you this>>
<< no matter how gentle and how fast you are. He got so many onesies as gifts that I won't have to buy any before he reaches 12-15 lbs. at least (he's 7.5 now
) so I'm looking for cool-cold weather items.
