Somewhere (probably here on the forums...) I heard the phrase "not planned, but not prevented." I told my birthson that phrase definitely described his conception/birth. I find it ironic that at least in the past, many marriages were the result of pregnancies: have you heard the saying, "The first one [baby] comes anytime, the second one always takes 9 months?"
Parenting alone is a difficult choice, but so is relinquishment. You have the responsibility but also the joys of watching your child grow and thrive.
