when i asked the guy at the carparts store to help me put on my new windshield wipers and he refused. (they always help). I was even wearing makeup!!!!! end of an era for me....
also, and this is my favorite
when you see a photo of yourself standing next to your impossibly gorgeous 23 year old daughter and you don't even care that you look a little chubby and tired
