hi,
i also thought that it might be important to prepare yourself emotionally for the journey you are about to take since it seems you are pretty serious about going through with an adoption. there is a book called The Girls Who Went Away, which are a collection of stories of over 100 women who relinquished their birthchildren through adoption and a brief history of adoption in America. If I could go back and tell myself to do one thing for myself while i was pregnant, it would be to read that book so that i would have some idea of the issues that come up after the birth of the baby and how to best prepare myself to deal with them.

best of luck!!!
