So are any of you watching the show and wondering if the plot is leading to adoption? I usually don't relate much to fictional characters, but I cried when young Amy found out she was pregnant and cried when her schoolmates where so cruel and when she told her mother. I just hope the creators of this show deal with the subject fairly and don't propose short term solutions for such a complicated situation.
I do like the fact that they portray Amy, the pregnant girl, as relatively normal and a little naïve. I think many of us were like her in many ways but society cast us as the bad girls. I am sure the outcome in the series will not reflect reality if adoption is introduced, but one can hope.
