I'm still in denial of the crazy yet to come. Those 5 weeks waiting for the final signature reduced me to a complete wreck. We got the signature almost 2 weeks ago and so now...? Nothing can hurt me. Yes, he's legally our son and it's frustrating to not have him here...but for the first time in this process I really believe he's my son and will be home. And after 9.5 months of wondering if he would be coming home at all, a few weeks or months of waiting for him to come home feels like a breath of fresh air.
All that said--once we hit 3-4 weeks in Mixco and the home stretch with colors...I'm sure I'll go bonkers.
