have you had any problems enrolling in any programs? A. is 13 mths. He has not had his MMR and Varicella. He is developmentally delayed; we discussed with his ped and decided to hold off until he sees the developmental ped. in a couple of months to make sure it is safe for him. He has had all his other shots. I tried to enroll him in a mothers day out program. They at first told me to get a letter from his doc. stating why we were holding off; I got them that letter. Then I get a call saying they can't take him. It is on a military base and per DOD rules a child MUST be vaccinated to attend. I find this VERY biased on their part and have made numerous phone calls to file complaints and see how this rule can be bent. I am livid; my child has gone through enough in his short life and now these fools are acting this way!!!!
