Have you gone to the Florida Searching Resources sub forum on the Florida Adoption Records forum on this site to check the resources and laws of searching in FL? If you were born in Miami...you may be able to get your non-identifying information from the Miami-Dade County Court (305)275-1155 You will have to ask who you would speak to about older post-adoption non-identify records and call whomever they tell you and find out how Miami-Dade handles these matters. When you get the non-identifying information you may have more clues to search with. Also, if you know someone with a subscription to Ancestry.com you may be able to find your birthmother (if you think her maiden name might have been Evans) in the 1930 census. If you found her in that census it would tell you the names of her parents since they still would have been alive when she was 4 or 5 years old. I would check Ohio first. I don't know if this helps but, it was all that I could think of right now.
