G-tube
Hello,
Both of my boys, age 1 1/2 and 3 have G-tubes. The G-tube is no big deal, you learn how to use the equipt. and it becomes second nature. The question for you may be, why does the child have the G-tube. Their is always an underlying reason they have it. A few questions may be:
Why does she have it?
How long is it expected to be needed?
Do the doctors know what is actually wrong, that she needs it? (My kids they still do not, we are still seeing more specialists.)
Does your insurance cover this need? (We ran into this problem because the 20% became a hunge number)
Am I ready to take on, what could be a life long need for her? At a minum she will have a unsural scar forever.
I am in a different situation, these are my bio kids, and I love the and would not give them up for anything! We are actuallt looking into adopting a special needs child, because I have saw so many kids in the hospital with no parent around and I saw the need. We want more kids so... Anyway, I hope this helped a little.
