DS had 2 come in and then 2 weeks later another 2. (His first four all in his 10th/11th month). But I feel like he's been teething forever. Anyway, we have loads of those cold teething things in the fridge but he's almost 1 and since he's had those things for 6 months or more they are "baby toys" to him. He never went for any home made cold strips of wash clothes or anything like that. I like to reserve Tylenol for more serious issues like fevers or headache/earaches so what to do?

I kind of think that on the bad days when I gave him the homeopathic teething tablets he did feel better! You have to use them as directed exactly but honestly they seemed to help. The only other things that worked were cold bottles (water bottles etc.) he only likes grown up things so that worked great (he esp. likes turning over the bottles and biting on the bottoms?!?) and teething biscuits. They are so messy but they dissolve and are not a choking hazard and he just sits there gnawing away, even when he had no teeth at all. Good luck! Say bye bye to the gummy baby smile :-(
