I agree with the poster who mentioned celebrity men having kids at a very old age. Didn't Clint Eastwood have a kid when he was in his 70's? I mean, yeah, being pregnant at an old age is different from getting someone pregnant, but I never hear any debates over how "bad" it is for kids to have a very old father. Personally, I would question the Dr.'s ethics in agreeing to the IVF -- I mean, it would seem a 70-y.o. would be too high risk for a pregnancy, but maybe this was a super-healthy 70-y.o. Or maybe they were just rich and were able to pay enough for the "right" Dr.
