We did not have to get clearance from each county, but from each STATE. Since we have lived in 2 states, it was as simple as filling out forms and sending fees. Your social worker should know where you need to send them, or at the very least the social worker should know where you can go to find out. Our agency sent us an email with a link. If you want it pm me with your address and I will be happy to send it your way.

Check on the county thing though. We are waiting for our 171-H and we didn't have to do our clearance by county. Just state and/or country.
