i remember my daughters birthday... it's the saddest time of the year... and has been for 22 years...
but i do understand how others may not remember... i really do. It's such a traumatic event.... and so many of us were told to erase it from our minds...
i know that for about three years after my daughter was born, i remembered her birthfathers last name... and then my cousin married someone with a similar sounding last name... and i could never remember the birthfathers last name after that... a rather embarrassing thing... but something in brain just let it go... completely.
and i named her Sarah... and i could never remember if i spelled it Sara or Sarah....
