I spent over a year planning for, preparing for, and reading about adoption. Then I gave birth to my son and had no idea what to do. I hadn't read a single thing about caring for a newborn.
I had a little FREAK OUT moment just thinking about taking him home from the hospital by ourselves. I had those same feelings with baby #2 and #3! It's normal (or I"m NUTS)!
