If you are asking about the time between birth and when the birthparents can sign TPR, the information I have is: Bparents can sign as soon as 5 days after birth in S.D. Consent becomes irrevocable 30 days after finalization. I think the wording indicates finalization of the ADOPTION, which would be a LONG time. If that is correct, it would be a long wait, as sometimes you can't finalize until at least 6 months after the birth.

3/20/09 - Finalized! We are legally, and in all other ways, a family.
