Our agency markets itself as an agency, but they are really more like a facilitator, as they look for other agencies to "team" with across the country to match us with emoms/bmoms. For us, we REALLY really like our adoption worker. She acts as a go-between between us and the other agency and will push for what we want/what we are looking for. It also opens up our choices, as we're not tied to one agency.

12/19/07 - Homestudy complete
2/25/08 - Officially waiting
5/29/08 - Matched!! Due 7/08
6/3/08 - Baby F born. Surprise!
6/7/08 - Adoption plan fell through 
7/11/08 - Matched! 20 month old girl and 3 month old boy
7/12/08 - The kids are in our care! Instant Family (just add water)!
3/20/09 - Finalized! We are legally, and in all other ways, a family.
