Here's a positive story: We were matched and had our baby in our arms within 72 days of being advertised by our agency. From talking with the bmom, she sounded very sure of her decision. She signed the TPR within 48 hours and only requested pictures once a year if we were comfortable with that which of course we are. We're all from Arizona, a state that does not allow bparents to change their minds so we're now only waiting for a court date for finalization. It couldn't have gone any smoother. Even with the baby's name since she also picked the name that my husband and I already decided on. Other coincidences; is that my maiden name is the first 4 letters of her first name, and that baby was born on the 26th which is also my husband's DOB and our anniversary. Since things happened so fast, I'm so glad that we purchased everything ahead of time. Good luck and stay positive!
