I'm actually not too concerned as she was late at crawling, sitting, walking, etc.. and I think that she will be a late talker. But, if her ped was concerned, then I will rather get her help if she needs it.
The ST came on Monday, she said that my daughter was just at that borderline, and recommended testing again when she turns 2. She comprehends everything I tell her, even two requests at a time. Last night I asked her to take her shoes to her room and bring a book back, and she did it.
She will be 20 months on June 4, and these are her words to date.
momma
tee-tah (sister)
no
pepe (which is what she calls her sippy cup)
wawa (water)
ball
bebe (baby)
hi
bye
poo-pooh (dirty diaper)
I haven't gotten the Devopmental Testing results yet.
She has a hearing test schedule for the 4th.
Today, another person from Regional is coming over to take more of her health history and wants to see how she interacts with family members.
I'll keep you guys posted.
Nikkiani-
How old is your DD?
Denice-
I'll keep court5505 in mind so I can contact her when all tests are done.
Thanks guys!
